OK summer is over, the heat, the bugs, the long days with nothing to do, nights so hot even the ceiling fans didn't cut it, but it's gone! Hey don't get me wrong, I love summer - we have a beach house in Maine, where I sit in front of big blue for endless hours soaking up rays, playing in the surf (bay side-not much surf), just sittin in the sand, doin a lot of nothin, and loving every minute. But my heart is still in the fluffy white - snow. This year promises to be a good one, Farmers Almanac is calling for lots and lots of white and we're gearing up for it.
Last season we focused on East Coast Pride, this year is going to be the "Hell Yeah!" year. Is it going to snow a lot? - Hell Yeah! Are we going to ride a lot? - Hell Yeah! Are we buying all new gear? - Hell Yeah! Are we buying it at Fatty's? - Hell Yeah! Well, you get the picture. Anyhow, we are kicking off the season with a 40th ANNIVERSARY SALE/RAIL JAM. It takes place on Saturday November 8th at FATTYS. We turned 40 this past 07/08 season, and our good friends at Sundown are doing it this 08/09 season, so Jarrod and I are throwin a bash. Nick from Joe’s Pizza is cooking, Rob from Ride is coming, Justin and Rebecca from Bonfire/Skull candy will be there, Arvid from Nitro is coming, Rob from MHW will be there, Matt from Special Blend, and Brian from Oakley are both trying to be there, the boys from K2, Scott and John will try to come, Ryan from Head will be here, unfortunately Rich from Line can’t make it but, promises some good schwag to give out, Mike from Nordica will be here, and Mike from Dakine will get some goodies here if he can’t be here.
SO- there will be great food, great giveaways, great music, and great times. This year we added Oakley clothing along with Special Blend to the store, and to kick off the season -

Because we are teaming up with SUNDOWN for a 40th ANNIVERSARY JAM ./ PARTY and DUE TO AN OVERWHELMING RESPONSE this year’s rail jam will be in a LOTTERY FORMAT we will be picking approximately 30 skiers / riders to participate in this years event. Anyone who does not make the cut can still walk away with some good shwag, and enjoy a great party. If you are picked, the same format goes - 17 and under MUST have a parent sign a release form ON SITE. 18 and up can do it here with a VALID DRIVERS license. HELMETS ARE A MUST

So again - it's Saturday November 8th at FATTYS parking lot- RT 44 Canton, keep glued. ALL skiers/riders 17 and under MUST have a parent sign a release form ON SITE, 18 and older can sign up here with a VALID license. HELMETS ARE A MUST.
